An exquisite Micronesian Island crowned by magnificent coral reefs.
Pohnpei is the capital of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Being the largest and tallest island in the FSM, her highest peaks measures approximately 2,600 feet (792) meters high, with the land mass measuring 133 sq. miles, 13 miles across and shaped like an umbrella, located 6° north latitude and 158° east longitude. Rainfall averaging 350 inches annually, created more than 40 waterfalls and rivers that feed the lush rain forest upland. A coral reef surrounds the island, protecting the inner lagoon; with mangrove forest surrounding the coast areas around the island.
